CANCELLED:INA Legislative Day at the Capitol

We are writing to inform you that the INA Legislative Day at the Capitol, scheduled for April 17, 2025, has been cancelled.

This difficult decision was made due to the Iowa Legislature unexpectedly closing early this week in observance of the upcoming holiday. As a result, legislative sessions have been cancelled, and legislators will be departing the Capitol on Wednesday.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause. We did not feel it would be a valuable use of our members' time and resources to travel to Des Moines when there would be no legislative sessions or opportunities to meet with lawmakers.

We appreciate your understanding. We will be in touch soon regarding potential rescheduling or alternative ways to engage in advocacy.
